Evocation of Amy

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

Tonight I decided to evoke the goetic Spirit Amy.

I had never worked with this Spirit before but, as I plan to study astrology, it seemed the logical thing to do in order to get a boost in my learning. Moreover, I wanted to chat with the Spirit regarding “treasures kept by Spirits.”

The decision to evoke this Spirit was some kind of “on the spot thing”, caused by an increasing frustration about some areas of learning and discovery.

The ritual was quite simple: I lit a candle and some incense in front of my Stele and of my HGA, then lit a candle and some incense in the triangle where the seal of Amy was. I had the seal of the Spirit and the usual pentagram of the flip side hanging from the neck, and the Hexagram of Solomon ready for use. I wasn’t in a very ritual mood tonight, so I worked skyclad and opted for a very simple form of evocation.

After Banishing with B&O and lighting candles and incense I stood in front of the Stele and uttered the Invocation of Kundalini from Liber LXV, then declared my Will to evoke Amy and do business with Him/Her.

As divinatory tools I had pendulum and Thoth Tarot.

After The Invocation of Kundalini I called Amy impromptu, then vibrated the name 8 times (Amy is a President, and the planet is Mercury).

The Spirit manifested rather soon, without lenghy calling and without any need for threatening. We communicated rather easily through the Tarot, with very positive cards showing up (The Star showed many times as an answer to my requests). One interesting thing: I’ve been using the pendulum for years, and I know how to make it swing clockwise, anti-clockwise ktl – every time I got a positive answer which was too good to be ture I tried to have the pendulum swing anti-clockwise (which in my system is a “no”), but it refused to. Uh. Nice…

Anyway, Amy agreed to help me with Astrology and eloquence (seems it’s in his/her field too), and promised to help me reach certain goals in a moon’s time, without harm to me or mine. We decided that tomorrow I’ll have to see a clear sign that He/She is working on my behalf, and devised a simpler methid of communication for future chats.

Then dismissal and banishing with B&O.
